Brooks Nader lives by a strict set of rules when it comes to girl code
Speaking with PEOPLE on Jan. 29 at Clarins’ Hollywood Galentine’s Beauty Evening, the Love Thy Nader star broke down two of her top rules when it comes to keeping girl code
Nader also opened up about her relationship status, as well as how she deals with online speculation about herself
Brooks Nader plays by the rules when it comes to her girls.The Love Thy Nader star, 28, spoke with PEOPLE on Jan. 29 at Clarins' Hollywood Galentine's Beauty Evening, addressing some of her biggest rules when it comes to being a girl's girl.The Sports Illustrated model lists her top two girl code rules that she stands by. The first? A pretty simple directive from Nader: "Don't date someone's ex."Following up, Nader jumped into a more specific rule she likes to live by: "Always pick up the phone and call the girl directly if there's some beef happening," she insists. "Especially if a guy's behind it, because they're probably lying," she adds.

"And then it's hilarious when you get together with, you know, a girl and be like, 'Wait, we were hoodwinked,' " Nader continued.While at the event, Nader opened up about her own relationship status, telling PEOPLE when asked, that she was single and ready to mingle.Nader's appearance at the Galentine's event came after she had been linked to actor Ben Affleck, 53. Deuxmoi reported on Jan. 24 that a source claimed that the pair had “never met.” Underneath the Instagram post, Nader provided clarification in a comment, writing, “Haven’t met him in my life.”

Talking with PEOPLE, Nader opened up about how she feels when rumors about her go viral — especially as a social media personality. "It's like par for the course," she says simply in response. "You know, it always happens."
Earlier this fall, Nader was linked with professional tennis players Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, and even more recently, she was spotted out with Dakota Mortensen at Hulu's The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives launch party on Nov. 11.
Prior to the romance rumors with Affleck, 53, the Dancing with the Stars alum was involved in an on-off relationship with her DWTS pro partner, Gleb Savchenko, after they met during season 33 of the ABC competition series.
At the time, the model opened up about her love life during an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch party on May 15. “I'm open to whatever, but I’m not looking for any kind of a partner right now,” she explained at the time. “I’m freshly single.”
When asked what she hopes to find in her next relationship, Nader revealed she is rethinking that idea entirely. “I don't even know, honestly,” she admitted. “Maybe it's Mr., maybe it's Mrs. I don't even know. Who knows? My sister keeps telling me I've got to switch teams. She's over me with the guys.”
“I’m 28, I've been married only, so I'm like, we'll see what happens,” Nader added of her 2024 divorce from Billy Haire. The pair split in 2024 after nearly five years of marriage.
