Even though Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll are divorcing, she says they still plan to be co-parents.

"We're still having a baby together," she said Thursday on her *Dumb Blonde* podcast, after saying that the country star remains her best friend despite their split.

The two married in August 2016, within less than a year of meeting backstage at one of his concerts in Las Vegas. They renewed their vows seven years later at the same Sin City venue where they had swapped vows.

"So, we have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered," said the host, whose real name is Alisa DeFord. "We're going to co-parent together. J is my best friend. Like, this isn't what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It's literally just we served our purpose for each other."

Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, filed for divorce May 18 in Williamson County, Tenn., listing their separation date as May 9. The reason cited was "irreconcilable differences," noting that the "parties are unable to live together successfully as husband and wife," according to documents obtained by **.

When they were still together, she had written in her memoir, *Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic*, which came out in February, that they had identified a surrogate.

"I've waited this long to have kids with someone I knew would be a great father —and to be able to make sure they have the best life," the 46-year-old wrote of Jelly Roll, 41.

“We're going to raise these babies in love and give them everything we were never given,” she added. “I can't wait to see a piece of me and him running around outside of our bodies.”

“With how much IVF has advanced over the years and with the help of the most unselfish woman willing to carry twins for us," Bunnie said, "we'll be able to make our baby dreams come true."

He already has two children with former flames: daughter Bailee Ann, 18, and son Noah Buddy, 9.
