Offset has gone viral after footage surfaced of him getting into a heated argument with casino staff at a blackjack table in Paris. The rapper was observed protesting that other gamblers were able to take his spot at the table as he was making high-stakes bets. He said:
“I’m betting more than anybody.”
However, what appeared to be an actual casino confrontation turned out to have a different explanation. The Ric Flair Drip hitmaker then said that the event was part of a plan to promote his upcoming album.
Why was Offset arguing with Casino staff in Paris?
Offset is seen in the viral clip arguing with employees at a Paris casino about his spot at a blackjack table. According to the clip that has gone viral, the rapper appeared upset that another gambler was allowed to play in his place after he left the table.
The Ric Flair Drip hitmaker emphasized the amount of money he was wagering and insisted that the casino staff treat him accordingly. Offset explained in the clip that he had been betting between $10,000 and $20,000:
“You’re not listening to me. If I play here, and I put the disposable card, nobody should f*cking play my hands, bro. Listen, this isn’t the little kids; this is high-limit. … I’m betting $10,000, I’m winning!”
He also told the staff:
“I will f*cking leave, but the problem is, I’m betting high [and] you need to treat me like how I’m betting.”
The Ric Flair Drip hitmaker later claimed he won $200,000 at the casino:
“They shouldn’t be playing at my table, bro. I beat y’all a**es tonight, I got $200,000. I’ll just go home.”
The rapper also appeared to say he would walk away if the matter was not settled. He yelled during the confrontation:
"I will f**kin' leave."
The footage ends without revealing how the dispute was ultimately handled.
Offset says the casino confrontation was an album stunt
While the video clip initially appeared to show a genuine argument, the Ric Flair Drip hitmaker later revealed that the incident was staged as part of the promotion for his latest album.

After the video went viral, The Shade Room claimed it spoke exclusively with Offset. Addressing reports that the encounter was a genuine confrontation, the rapper reportedly responded:
“Man, they messin up my rollout.”
Offset did not reveal more details about the stunt or clarify how the casino scene relates to his next release. It is also unclear whether any other staged moments are planned as part of the album promotion.
According to the revelation, the online discussion was sparked by a staged performance to promote the rapper's upcoming album, not an actual dispute with casino staff.
Offset's latest casino-related incident occurred just months after he was wounded in a shooting at the Seminole Hard Rock Resort and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, in April 2026. The rapper, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was reportedly brought to a hospital after the incident.
Offset's representative confirmed at the time that he had been shot and was seeking medical treatment, but also stated that he was stable and under surveillance:
“We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored.”
The Ric Flair Drip hitmaker later spoke about his recovery process in an interview, portraying himself as someone who needed to keep going ahead despite what had transpired:
“I gotta keep pushing, I’m like the Energizer bunny.”
When asked about his mental state after the shooting, he described it as having a "gladiator mentality" and claimed that the show would never stop. He said:
“Gladiator mentality, man. The show don’t stop never at the end of the day.”
The Paris casino confrontation comes several months after another serious incident featuring the rapper at a gambling establishment, though he has subsequently claimed that the latest footage was staged as part of his album promotion.
