The designer rocked an outfit nodding to fiancé Karl-Anthony Towns and her lucky purse, which she designed for her brand Woods by Jordyn

Woods revealed that the superstition behind the accessory grew after the New York Knicks lost a game following a winning streak when a no-bag policy was put in place at Madison Square Garden for Game 3 of the Finals

You could say Jordyn Woods is getting her bag.

The fashion designer and fiancé of Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns has scored big this NBA season because of her dedication to one — okay, two — things: her man and her lucky bag.

Throughout this year's schedule, the former reality star, 28, became one to watch courtside for her custom Knicks-themed looks and the lucky orange bag that she designed. The accessory has become a superstition for fans believing that the purse — which has since sold out on the Woods by Jordyn website — was partly responsible for bringing the New York City team to the NBA Finals and its first win in over 50 years.

But taking home the championship didn't stop Woods from carrying her token of good fortune.

On June 18, Woods was among those attending the Knicks parade in New York City, and in a video shared to social media, the star can be seen rocking her team-coordinated crossbody in addition to a Towns' "32" jersey, a Knicks hat and white jeans that said "Mrs. Towns" on the back.

On Instagram, Woods posted a celebratory Instagram picture of Towns, 30, holding up the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy in addition to the bag, which was also held by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Towns himself called the bag "one of the greatest clothing articles in the history of basketball!" in a clip shared by the NBA after the finals. "I want everyone in New York to know that bag won a championship," he said in another video.

When Woods appeared on Today with Jenna & Sheinelleon June 17, she revealed how the bag became a woo-woo way to tell if the Knicks had a chance of winning.

"I made this sample for the playoffs," she began. "I started wearing it, we won the game and it became a superstition. It really went viral when I couldn't bring it and it was the first game we lost, I think, in 50 days or something," she added, referencing when Madison Square Garden instituted a no-bag policy timed to President Donald Trump's attendance at Game 3 on June 8.

When co-host Jenna Bush Hager asked if Woods has any plans to retire her current good luck charm next season, she responded, "After [the Knicks parade], I'm going to hang it in the rafters. I think she needs a rest."

Woods and Towns have been engaged since Christmas Eve 2025. They built their relationship on a deep friendship before becoming romantic partners, as she was there to support him after his mother, Jacqueline Cruz-Towns, died on April 13, 2020, from COVID-19.

"You always pray you're going to pick the right woman for you, and I know I did in my fiancée," Towns said of Woods on Saturday, June 13, after the Knicks' 94-90 triumph. "It's crazy, when [his mother] passed, there was so much turmoil in my life. Funny enough, my fiancée was the one who was a friend at the time, was the only person I got to call before I had to go out there and say bye to her at the hospital."

"Me and her have a real bond that goes deeper than just physical features and everything like that," he continued of his fiancée. "We've got a true friendship that was built from the ground up."
