Liam Payne's son is reportedly named the sole beneficiary of the late singer's estate.
The late One Direction member passed away in October 2024 at the age of 31. Liam fell to his death from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His cause of death was "polytrauma" and "internal and external hemorrhage" from the fall. Toxicology reports announced that alcohol, cocaine, and prescription antidepressants was within Liam's system before hisdeath.
Ahead of Liam's tragic death, he did not have a will. His former partner and the mother of his nine-year-old son Bear, Cheryl Cole, was named an administrator of his estate, alongside music lawyer Richard Bray. It comes after Payne's ex-girlfriend Kate Cassidy dropped a dating bombshell.

With the two being administrators, this meant that they have the ability to collect and preserve the former boy band member's assets. According to TMZ, recent court documents have been awarded to Liam's estate, which is equal to approximately $28 million.
The outlet reported that some of the funds from the estate can be used, but the majority is being held in a trust for Bear until he is 18.
The Sun also reported that Liam's then-girlfriend before his death, Kate Cassidy, has no intention of making claims against his estate.
The estate also includes his five-bedroom home at Chalfont St Giles in Buckinghamshire, England, which he purchased in 2021 to reportedly become closer to Bear after splitting with Cheryl in 2018

Cheryl and Liam dated from 2016 to 2018. The former couple first meet in 2008 when she was a judge and Liam was a contestant on X-Factor.
The 31-year-old British performer passed away on October 16, 2024, after plummeting from a third-floor balcony at the Casa Sur Palermo Hotel, shortly after 5pm local time.
Emergency responders raced to the location, but Liam was declared dead at the hotel.
An autopsy subsequently determined the cause of death as "polytrauma", indicating multiple traumatic injuries to the body.

About two years ago, Payne had been vacationing in Argentina briefly with his girlfriend, Kate, 26, as the pair attended Niall Horan's performance in Buenos Aires before enjoying several days in the city.
Kate flew back to the U.S. about three days prior to his death, while Payne prolonged his visit alone.
During the hours preceding his death, Payne was captured on hotel security cameras conversing with staff and guests.

Based on local accounts, Payne brought two women to his room earlier that day and was subsequently spotted leaning over the balcony moments before his fatal fall.
Two men - 25-year-old waiter Braian Paiz and 22-year-old hotel employee Ezequiel Pereyra - were arrested and charged in connection with the case involving the death of the singer.
Even though the duo has been charged, both men have insisted that they were unfairly blamed for the singer's death.
