Robert F. Kennedy Jr. left the internet confused with his latest confession about his gag reflex. While promoting his new cooking program, he confessed that he could “literally eat anything”, which may also include foods many people would find unappealing.
In an interview with USA Today White House Correspondent Swapna Venugopal Ramaswamy about his new YouTube cooking program, The Real Food Show, RFK Jr. admitted that he is gifted with the ability to eat anything and loves to experiment with food.
According to the HHS website, the cooking program aims to provide “practical nutrition advice to help fuel your family” as well as “easy cooking techniques designed to save you time and money.”
RFK Jr. Makes a Bizarre Confession About His Gag Reflex
During the conversation, Ramaswamy asked him about the most exotic food he had ever eaten. On this, the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services said, “I will literally eat anything. I don’t have a gag reflex, let me put it like that. I will eat anything, and I love experimenting with foods. I love all different kinds of foods. When I travel, I’ll eat, you know, even stuff I find on the street vendors.”
According to a Mediaite report, Kennedy has repeatedly drawn attention for his food choices, as he is known to eat mostly fermented foods and meat. He has also reportedly encouraged other members of the Trump administration to adopt similar eating habits.
He reportedly told reporters in 2024 that he had his freezer full of roadkill. If this was not enough, the former environmental lawyer sparked controversy when he recalled, “cutting the p**** out of a road-killed raccoon.”
However, his team later clarified that he feeds the dead animals to his pet birds. After his latest confession, the internet was quick to react to his remarks, with some openly mocking him.
The Internet Lashes Out At RFK Jr.’s Reply
One of the social media users said, “He is disgraceful,” while another X user stated, “You ever just wish to unhear something?” A user on X chimed in, “Just seeing his face gives me the gag reflex.”

A social media user lashed out at the anti-vaccine activist and wrote, “He does not care about his own health and life. I don’t know what makes people think that he would care about yours.”
When the correspondent furthermore probed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on whether he likes to consume something that might be “gross” for others but not him, he avoided answering the question.
This latest revelation from the Health and Human Services Secretary of him “literally eating anything” might come as a surprise since he has always preached to people to be extremely mindful of what they consume.
In the same interview, The Riverkeepers author also admitted that he always finds it a challenge to resort to a vegan diet because of his “atavistic craving for protein.”
This comes after RFK Jr. released new U.S. nutritional guidelines in early 2026, which he claimed would “revolutionize” America’s food culture. His statement during that time said, “Today, our government declares war on added sugar. Highly processed foods loaded with additives, added sugar, and excess salt damage health and should be avoided. As Secretary of Health and Human Services, my message is clear: eat real food.”
