Is engagement in the cards for Cardi B? It all depends on the outcome of today's Super Bowl.

New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who has been romantically linked to the "Bodak Yellow" musician since early last year, fielded questions about the topic from reporters on Monday ahead of his appearance in Super Bowl LX.

One reporter asked if Cardi B would be "getting her ring" — that is, an engagement ring — if he emerges victorious at Sunday's big game.

"It's on the agenda, maybe, right? Right?" Diggs responded.

"I gotta get mine first," he added, in reference to a championship ring that he'd receive if his team won the Super Bowl.

Cardi B was first spotted with Diggs in February 2025, according to TMZ. The duo sparked further dating rumors in May when they attended a New York Knicks game together.

The "I Like It" rapper took the relationship Instagram official in June with a photo of herself embracing Diggs on a yacht, though she has since removed the post from her account.

Cardi B briefly fueled breakup rumors in the summer when she removed photos of Diggs from her feed, but clarified that they were still together in September during an interview with *CBS Mornings* — and revealed that they were expecting their first child together.

"I'm excited, I'm happy. I feel like I'm in a good space," she said. "I feel very strong, I feel very powerful that I'm doing all this work — but I'm doing all this work while I'm creating a baby. Me and my man, we're very supportive of each other. We're in the same space in our careers."

She later clarified of that last comment, "I feel like we're really great and one of the best at what we do, and me and him think the same way — like, 'Yeah, we're one of the greatest, but what's next?' We have to do it again, all the time. We're never comfortable, we just wanna keep doing it."

The musician and the athlete welcomed a baby in November. "Starting over is never easy but it's been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world," Cardi B wrote on Instagram at the time. "And one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve."

Cardi B also has three children with the musician Offset, with whom she shared an on-again, off-again relationship from 2017 to 2023. The two rappers were married from September 2017 until Cardi B filed for divorce in July 2024, though she'd previously said that she'd separated from Offset the year prior.

Diggs was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in 2015 and later played for the Buffalo Bills and the Houston Texans before joining the Patriots in 2025. He welcomed a daughter in 2016, though he has not publicly identified her mother.**
