Terra Nova was a sci-fi adventure series that dropped viewers into a dangerous, dinosaur-filled past where humanity was trying to survive a broken future.

The show starred Jason O’Mara as Jim Shannon, a determined father and leader, alongside Stephen Lang as the tough commander Nathaniel Taylor.

Mixing family drama, time travel and prehistoric chaos, Terra Nova quickly built a cult following despite its short run. Now, let’s take a look at where the cast has ended up since the show was cancelled in 2012.

Jason O’Mara starred as Jim Shannon, a former detective and devoted father who becomes one of Terra Nova’s most trusted protectors while trying to keep his family safe in a dangerous new world.

Outside of Terra Nova, the Irish actor is widely known for voicing Batman in multiple DC animated films and series, as well as appearing in shows like Irish Blood, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Lincoln Lawyer and movies like Hypnotic.

The 53-year-old was previously married to actress Paige Turco, and they share one son.

Shelley Conn played Dr. Elisabeth Shannon, a skilled trauma surgeon whose medical expertise is crucial to the survival of the Terra Nova colony.

The 49-year-old has appeared in numerous television projects, including Gen V, Mistresses, Liar and Little Disasters – building a career across both British and American TV. In 2022, she starred as Lady Mary Sharma in the hugely successful Netflix series, Bridgerton.

Conn is married to English actor Jonathan Kerrigan. She is known for keeping her personal life private and does not publicly share many details about her marriage or family.

Christine Adams portrayed Mira, the cold and calculating leader of the Sixers, whose rebellion against Terra Nova fuels much of the show’s central conflict.

The 51-year-old has appeared in a wide range of projects, including Batman Begins and the superhero series Black Lightning, where she played Lynn Pierce.

The British actress is married to David Young and the pair reportedly shares two children.

Allison Miller played Skye, a tough, independent young woman who grew up in Terra Nova and knows how to survive its dangers better than most.

The 40-year-old has appeared in several TV series, including Kings, Go On and A Million Little Things. She’s also been featured in films like 17 Again and About Us.

Miller was previously married to filmmaker and actor Adam Nee for seven years and tends to keep her personal life away from the spotlight.

Landon Liboiron as Josh Shannon

Landon Liboiron starred as Josh Shannon, the oldest Shannon sibling who struggles with leaving his old life behind while adapting to the unpredictable world of Terra Nova.

The 34-year-old later gained major attention for his lead role in Netflix’s Hemlock Grove, where he played Peter Rumancek. He also appeared in historical dramas like Frontier and various independent films.

Not much is known about Liboiron’s personal life.

Naomi Scott played Maddy Shannon, the smart and idealistic middle child who uses her intelligence to help solve problems within the colony. Her role on Terra Nova marked one of her early television appearances.

Despite starring in Disney’s Lemonade Mouth in 2011, Scott rose to international fame starring as Princess Jasmine in Disney’s 2019 Aladdin, as well as roles in Power Rangers and Charlie’s Angels.

The 32-year-old is also a singer and songwriter, blending music into her creative career. Scott has been married to former soccer player Jordan Spence since 2014.

Alana Mansour portrayed Zoe Shannon, the youngest member of the family, whose very existence challenges the strict population laws of the future world.

After the series, Mansour continued working in acting and is currently featured in the TV show, Black Snow.

Mansour, now 22, tends to keep her personal life mostly private as she continues to explore different artistic paths.

Stephen Lang as Commander Nathaniel Taylor

Stephen Lang played Commander Nathaniel Taylor, the hardened and commanding leader of Terra Nova who spent years surviving in the prehistoric world before founding the colony.

Lang is widely recognized for his role as Colonel Miles Quaritch in James Cameron’s Avatar film franchise. He also starred in the horror film Don’t Breathe.

The 73-year-old has been married to costume designer Kristina Watson since 1980, and they have four children.
